Bob earned a bachelors degree in electrical engineering from South Dakota State College a foundation that reflected his disciplined mind and steady determination. Over the course of his career Bob worked for Remington Rand Univac Data Display Corporation and Control Data Corporation. He retired from Control Data in 1960 closing a professional chapter marked by several personal achievements which even included a United States Patent in 1986. Bob married Lorna in Brookings SD in 1961. Shortly after marriage they welcomed one son Gary and one daughter Karen into their lives. A thoughtful and curious man Bob maintained a lifelong interest in the unexplained he was a member of the Minnesota Mutual UFO Network an active organization that investigates UFO sightingsand he produced the longrunning show UFOs and the Paranormal for local community TV. Gary is preceded in death by Charlene wife of 50 years his parents Lou and Delores in laws Bill and Marge brother Craig sister in law Sheryl and niece Sarah. Gary had several great loves his Catholic faith his wife Charlene of 50 years being a devoted father of 4 boys 4 daughterinlaws 10 grandchildren. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. A Mass of Catholic burial will be held on Thursday April 9 2026 at 11am at St. Odilia Catholic Church Shoreview with a visitation beginning at 10 am. Private interment following the lunch. Daniel Edwin Nash 84 passed away on March 31 2026 in Minneapolis Minnesota after a long battle with kidney disease and COPD. Dan was born on October 20 1941 in Warroad Minnesota to Samuel and Josephine Nash. He graduated from Falls High School in International Falls Minnesota and entered the Navy on October 27 1960. He was a Petty Officer Third Class and served as a Fire Control Technician. He was honorably discharged in 1966. In 1965 Dan married Elsie Otto and together they had two children Valerie Lynn Nash and Scott Daniel Nash. Dan and Elsie later divorced. Dan worked for Yellow Freight in Minneapolis for 30 years retiring in 1996. Dan and Rhea enjoyed playing cards making beautiful crafts going to the corner VFW for Prime Rib on Friday nights and doting on their 4 dogs Murphy Ebony Mika and Rebel.
