Harlin Evert Maaninga was born at home in Shell River Township Menahga MN on October 21 1940. He was the fourth child born to Evert and Saima Kangas Maaninga. He was baptized by Pastor Joseph Matta and confirmed his faith at Meadow Apostolic Lutheran Church. Harlin learned at an early age what hard work was all about as he helped his family plow the fields milk cows by hand and put up hay. In the winter months he logged timber and sawed lumber with his neighbors. He later gained employment at the Farmers Coop Elevator in Menahga MN where he worked as a feed truck driver for 45 years. Harlin married his sweetheart Judy Paurus on September 24 1960 in Sebeka MN. William "Bill" Carl Robinson age 89 of Parkers Prairie Minnesota passed away at his home surrounded by the love of his family on July 1 2026. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his military service he worked as a truck driver for May Flower and later owned and operated a machine shop in Alamogordo New Mexico. During his first marriage he welcomed his daughter JJ. He later moved to North Dakota to help a friend where he drove truck hauling grain between Minneapolis and Duluth. In 1981 Bill met the love of his life Theresa Trzpuc. The couple was united in marriage on October 21 1983 in Valley City North Dakota. They later made their home in Parkers Prairie Minnesota where they welcomed their son Kyle in 1985.
