Lonnie James Hopkins was born February 26, 1968 in Sheldon, IA to Gary Manser and Judy (nee' Jensen). He passed away at his home in Washington, MO on Monday, August 17, 2026 at the age of 58 years.Lonnie grew up in Hermann, MO and graduated from Hermann High School in 1987. After high school, Lonnie joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country. He attained the rank of Airman First Class and was honorably discharged in June 1990 to complete the remainder of his enlistment in the United States Air Force Reserves. After serving his country, Lonnie attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO and completed his bachelor’s degree in business at Dallas Baptist University in 1993.
