George Edward Roth, 86, of Macon, MO, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the University Hospital in Columbia, MO.George was born on January 23, 1940, in Audrain County, MO, the son of William Barron and Elizabeth (Pool) Roth. George was united in marriage to Cleva Lew Greening on January 29, 1961, in Centralia, MO. They were happily married for 65 years.George enjoyed square dancing, Cardinals baseball, nature, and being with his family. His great grandkids were his most recent joys. George served as a square dance officer at the local, district and state levels. After serving as a USDA Meat Inspector, he retired as Quality Control Supervisor from ConAgra in 2004.George is survived by his wife, Cleva of Macon, three children, Cheri Lynne Guelbert and her husband Vince of Columbia, Lindell Edward Roth and his wife Janell of Macon, and Barron Thomas Roth and his wife Laura of…
