She enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with Sawyer Wooten and Jonathan Wade Gandy.She is survived by her son, Cory Dix of Dexter, Missouri; by her brother, Delbert Wooten of Malden, Missouri; and by her sister, Eloise Daur of Labadie, Missouri.Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Kelvin Wooten.A memorial service will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mary Alice Allen, daughter of the late Tom Rowland and Jeanetta Parsley Rowland, was born on January 15, 1945, in Puxico, Missouri, and departed this life on March 30, 2026, at Winchester Nursing Center in Bernie, Missouri, at the age of 81 years.Mrs. Allen graduated from the Baptist School of Nursing in Memphis, Tennessee. She worked as a Registered Nurse for Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter, Missouri. She was of the Baptist faith and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and was faithful her whole life. Her greatest joy in life was helping her husband, Jack, on the farm.On November 4, 1972, at Duck Creek Missionary Baptist Church near Puxico, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Jack Allen.
