LaVerne Joyce Tinker, daughter of the late Peter Tandski and Mabel Ferguson, was born on March 31, 1943, in Pontiac, Michigan, and departed this life on April 1, 2026, at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 83 years due to congestive heart failure. LaVerne was a resident of Dexter for most of her life.LaVerne is survived by her two daughters, Joyce Snider (Keith Hardin) of Dexter, Missouri and Yvonne Bosson (Thierry Bosson) of Greensboro, North Carolina; by her sister, LaVeda Banken (John) of Dexter, Missouri, by her granddaughter, Heather Short (Jessey) and two great grandchildren, Walker and Lucy Short all residing in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Gary Tandski and Deril Ferguson, Jr.; and by her sister, Brinda Wallis.Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, April 6, 2026, from…
