Michael Earl Scott was born June 20 1957 to Earl Burl Scott and Neva Mae Harrison Scott in Lincoln Nebraska and passed away February 9 2026. He was 68 years old. Mike was baptized as an infant at the First Evangelical United Brethren Church in Lincoln. On August 4 1989 he was united in marriage to Jean Claire Perry Scott. Together they raised four children Britney Lee Perry William Soderstrom Pamela Miner and Eric Soderstrom. Mike made a life using his hands working alongside his father at Scott Construction and spent several years with Kess Drywalling. He was an independent man and spent the majority of his life living in the Nebraska countryside with Jean in Cordova. He attended St. Johns Lutheran Church and served as an usher.
