She came to the United States in January 1967 with her husband and two sons, settling in Newark, N.J.When she first arrived in America, she worked as a seamstress and later worked for Newark’s Fluid Chemical until its closing. She then worked at Immaculate Conception Church for over 25 years.She was a devout Catholic who cherished her faith, enjoyed gardening, and loved planting and caring for her flowers. Diana enjoyed cooking for family and friends, and her home was always a welcoming place for company to enjoy her homemade Italian pastas. Above all, she cherished her role as a mother and Nonna.
