Marie E. Diomede nee Zamarra 75 went Home to the Lord on Saturday July 4 2026. Marie was born in Passaic and lived her entire life in Lyndhurst. She was an industrious young woman and out of high school became a licensed beautician during which time she met her love Edward Diomede. They dated and wed soon after. Marie worked as a hairdresser until she and Eddie began their family together. As a faith filled servant of God Marie lived her faith through service to others and from an early age devoted herself to her husband her children and grandchildren. She loved her bible and reading scripture from it often sharing this sacred time and song with her grandchildren. A committed member of Metrochurch Marie also enjoyed running the churchs Christian bookstore. She was an amazing cook and would always have prepared lunch and dinner for her family. We mourn…
