Trout, Jr., affectionately known as Peanut, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, at the age of 92.Born on October 12, 1933, in Somers Point, New Jersey, he was a lifelong resident of the area and a familiar and respected presence to all who knew him. Peanut lived a long and meaningful life rooted in family, community, and the simple values of hard work, loyalty, and kindness. He was a proud graduate of Middle Township High School, Class of 1954, and carried the friendships and memories of those years with him throughout his life. Barry Sherwood operated the locksmith shop with the help of Sharon the last 34 years.An accomplished artist specializing in graphite pencil drawings, Sharon made a career of creating beautiful portrait heirlooms for grateful families all across the country.
