Carol Jean Wilsey, 89 – of Cape May Court House, NJ passed away peacefully July 2, 2026, surrounded by her family. Jean was born in Philadelphia to the late Edward and Marguerite Berlinger. She summered in Sea Isle until she married and moved to Avalon; before moving to Cape May Court House in 2002. Jean was a member of the Methodist Church of Avalon and Cape May Court House. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, gardening, and lunch with her friends, and was a member of the Red Hats Society. More than anything Jean cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is predeceased by both her husband Richard Wilsey and her granddaughter Jessica Nash.Jean is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Bradford) Nash and Karen (Richard) Sweeten; sister Nancy Spayd; grandchildren: Diane (Steve) Mills, Kelly (Matt) Stiles, Erica (Ellis Pinkard) Nash, Rachel Nash, and Richard (Oi-Wa) Sweeten;…
