Robert D. Smith 79 of Hamilton passed away on Thursday March 5 2026 at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees NJ. Bob was a lifelong resident of Mercer County. He graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1965. Robert worked at Sears Roebuck Company for 20 years a parttime employee at The Hibbert Group for many years and ACME in Yardville for 34 years. His neighborhood nickname was ACME Bob as well as the Mayor of Yardville for his enate ability to connect with people. He enjoyed his time at work for he truly was a person of customer service. Bobs happiest times were spent with his longtime companion Susan Halko for almost 25 years. They dearly loved each other and truly enjoyed life together.
