Mildred K. Skerbetz went home to God on February 15 2026. She was at home surrounded by loved ones. Millie was the loving daughter of Martin and Gizella Kovatch and the sister to Elaine Evelyn and Paul. Growing up in New Brunswick NJ Millie graduated from New Brunswick High School with honors. While working at a luncheonette she had a frequent customer who eventually won her heart. Millie and Bill Skerbetz married on November 4 1951 and remained married for 65 yrs.. They were blessed with 5 children David Bruce Mark Leslie and Douglas. The family grew up in Highland Park NJ. The years passed quickly and soon there were weddings and babies to love. Marie G. Gironda 75 of Menlo Park Terrace Woodbridge Twp NJ passed peacefully on Friday February 13 2026 at the JFK Medical Center in Edison NJ. She received her BA in English Education and Latin and MA in English Literature at Rutgers University NCAS and had attended Drew University for postgraduate studies. Marie retired in 2012 as a high school teacher at University High School in Newark NJ teaching English and Latin with a career spanning 40 years. After her retirement she was an online professor of the Education Masters Program at The University of Southern California USC in Los Angeles CA. She was communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords NJ where she served as a Eucharistic minister taught CCD and was a member of the Columbiettes. Born in Perth Amboy raised in Fords he made his home in Port Reading where he devoted more than 40 years to raising his children with his wife Sandy. Bob was a graduate of Woodbridge High School as a proud member of the Class of 1956. His class was the final graduating class to attend the original building on Barron Avenue now Woodbridge Middle School before the current high school was constructed. Bob also attended Monmouth University in Long Branch. He played basketball and baseball while enrolled in both schools. Aside from his passion for sports Bob loved his family friends and country. Born in Somerville and raised in Bound Brook Ann was the cherished daughter of John and Helen Mooney. She graduated from St. Peters High School in 1949 and later attended Berkley Business School. Ann built a long and successful career as an Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper before becoming a partner at New Jersey Fire Equipment where she proudly worked until her retirement in 2016. Fearless in spirit Ann was always ready for her next adventure. She spent countless weekends sailing the Barnegat Bay with family and friends and treasured her many trips to Ireland the Caribbean and vacations with her dearest girlfriends.
