Charles went to St. Josephs grade school and high school in Toms River and attended Marist College and Ocean County Community College. Charles enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His happiest moments were the times spent with his daughters and grandchildren. He also enjoyed cooking writing attending concerts and researching his Irish heritage of which he was deeply proud. He was a loving son brother father grandfather and friend and he will be forever missed by us all. He is survived by his mother Ann Morrisroe Hayes of Toms River his daughters Jaimee Sutton and her husband Jay of Point Pleasant Jessica Hayes of Point Pleasant his brothers Thomas and wife Robyn of Toms River Michael and wife Nancy of Brick his sister Nancy Hayes of Toms River his four grandchildren Knox Cody Walker and Annie. Scott M. Lepeshko 59 of Ocean Twsp NJ passed on Monday June 29 2026. Born in Rahway NJ to his late parents Karl and Janet Lepeshko he was formerly of Toms River NJ and has been a resident of Waretown since 1992. Employed as a mechanic Scott enjoyed fixing cars as well as homes. Above all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Dawn two loving children Hope Lepeshko Christopher and Casey Lepeshko Victoria adored dogs Jackie and Dexter devoted sister Cheryl Bertoti Anthony. Born and raised in New York City she then lived in Howell NJ before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 2018. Brenda was Director of Religious Education at St. Veronica RC Church in Howell NJ for 30 years before her retirement. She dedicated her life to the Catholic Church. Together with her husband Dennis Heffernan she coordinated RCIA and many other Catholic ministries. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Dennis Heffernan in 2023 her parents Anthony and Emily LoGrippo and her brother Robert LoGrippo. Brenda is survived by her four children Dennis Heffernan and his wife Corinne of Huntington NY Christopher Heffernan of Middleport PA Debra Heffernan of Jackson NJ and Michael Heffernan of Toms River NJ and six grandchildren Skylar Conor Elizabeth Molly Emily and Nicole.
