Teresa Gray Lewis 79 of Barnegat NJ passed away peacefully on July 1 2026. She was born August 31 1946 in Spooner MN to Karl and Esther Graham. Teresa or "Terry" as she was known was a 1964 graduate of Southern Regional High School. She attended Stockton State College and Rutgers University ultimately achieving her Master of Social Work degree. She was a dedicated member of Wright Memorial Presbyterian Church for 50 years and more recently a member of Ocean Community Church. She worked for Bell Telephone in Manahawkin as a young adult but her true calling was helping others. She served as a counselor and eventually became the director of the St. Francis Counseling Service on Long Beach Island. She loved traveling and crossword puzzles but she took special pride in her gardeningespecially the beautiful garden she tended adjacent to the Wright Memorial Presbyterian Church for all to enjoy.…
