The Long Valley community was saddened this week with the passing of one of its longtime residents Marjorie Schomp Lindaberry. She was a beloved wife mother sister and Grammy. She passed away peacefully at her home on March 31 2026. Marjorie was 81 years of age born August 301944 to the late Charles Phillip Schomp and Marjorie Schomp OBrien. She and her husband William Lindaberry shared 55 years of marriage on the Lindaberry Farm where they raised their three daughters. Marjorie grew up in the town of Stanhope and graduated from Netcong High School. She continued her education at Glassboro State College now Rowan University where she earned a degree in Elementary Education. She taught fourth grade at Netcong Elementary School until leaving to start her family. Marjorie treasured the role of motherhood.
