Sherry Crawford formerly of East Stroudsburg passed away peacefully at the home of her son in Hackettstown NJ on April 1 2026. Born December 4th 1935 she was a lifelong educator in both Pennsylvania and New York State. She was the longtime Head Childrens Librarian of Easter Monroe Public Library in Stroudsburg. Born in East Stroudsburg to the late Clarence and Stella Oney Plattenburg she graduated from East Stroudsburg High School. She held a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters in Reading Education from East Stroudsburg University as well as a Library Science Certificate. She lived outside the country twice in Tangier Morocco and Suva Fiji. She traveled extensively Including many Pacific Islands England Germany India and Egypt. Stubborn until the very end William Bill T. Reed passed away peacefully after a long illness on March 30th 2026 at Hackettstown Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was a beloved husband brother father and Bubba. Born November 12th 1959 in Phillipsburg NJ Bill grew up in Hackettstown and spent the last 18 years residing in Panther Valley. During his youth he spent hours on his bike and enjoyed his time as a Boy Scout with his Scout Leader parents. He attended Hackettstown High School and worked a variety of jobs locally. He volunteered with Hackettstown Rescue Squad trained as a paramedic for Saint Clares and spent many years as a dispatcher for Hackettstown Police Department with his brothers.
