TOWN OF NEWPORT – Ryan M. Carnright, 47, of North Gage Road, passed away on October 10, 2026, at MVHS Wynn Hospital, Utica after a brief battle with lymphoma.Ryan was born on January 4, 1979, in Little Falls, son of JoAnn (Morgan) Carnright and the late Ronald Carnright. He graduated from West Canada Valley Central School in 1997 and immediately entered the U. S. Army. He was honorably discharged in 2004 at the rank of SPC.On May 25, 2002, Ryan was united in marriage with Heidi J. Schell. Together they raised their family, worked their farm and showed dairy goats. Ryan enjoyed working at various local farms and driving truck with his brother, Russ. He was currently employed at the Town of Deerfield Highway department and at Teel Farms.
