Rose M. Anabel, age 87 of North Cohocton, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2026 at UR Noyes Health in Dansville. She was born on May 1, 1939 in Coudersport, Pennsylvania to the late Floyd & Mable Peet.Rose held many jobs throughout her life, retiring in 2006 from Star Headlight in Avon, New York. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and sewing, and was an avid reader. She also loved baking cookies to share with family and friends.Rose was predeceased by her daughter, Christina Hagadone; and her partner of 35 years, Ted S. Liddiard.She is survived by her son, Eric Anable of Wayland, New York; her grandson, Micharl Hagadone of Bath, New York; and many nieces and nephews.Friends are invited to join the family to celebrate & remember Rose’s life from 11am – 1pm on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at the Walter E. Baird & Sons Funeral Home in Wayland.
