Montour Falls Neil Richard Simpson age 71 passed away late Tuesday evening May 12 2026 at Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls following an illness. He was born in Rochester on February 12 1955 a son of the late Edward and Fay Gilbert Simpson. He was also predeceased by a brother Paul Simpson. Neil worked briefly as an aide at the Rochester office for people with developmental disabilities. He enjoyed riding motorcycles watching the Buffalo Bills and professional wrestling. Surviving Neil are his children David John Genesis Bingham Simpson Derek Ryan Simpson a sister Melissa Sarah Constable Simpson brothers Michael Tyler Nearing Simpson Keith Gail Simpson a sisterinlaw Deb Simpson seven grandchildren several nieces and nephews.
