Jose Rivera Soto 82 of Nelliston passed away with family by his side on Tuesday March 31 2026 at his home. Jose was born on Friday October 2 1943 in Trujilo Alto Puerto Rico son of the late Juan Rivera Castro and the late Antonia Soto Collazo. Jose lived in the Fort Plain area for more than 50 years and worked as a cook for BeechNut at the Canajoharie location. He was Protestant in faith and was proud of his Puerto Rican heritage. In his spare time Jose enjoyed playing dominoes and solitaire working on cars dancing and gardening. He also liked helping people and spending time with family and friends around a bonfire. Donald T. Herringshaw Sr. 80 of Palatine Bridge went to be with his Lord on Monday March 23 2026. Don was born on October 13th 1945 in Little Falls one of ten children to the late George and Reba Mosher Herringshaw. Don attended Canajoharie High School. He married the love of his life Billie Gerlach on March 6 1965 in Fort Plain. Don became an OwnerOperator of a dairy farm in Manheim where he and Billie raised their family. He also started his own business Dons Hoof Trimming which he operated for many years. Don was a devoted member of the Pentecostal faith a true family man and extremely hardworking. Survivors include his loving wife Billie Herringshaw his three sons Donald Herringshaw Jr. Coleen William Herringshaw Tammy and Christopher Herringshaw Jaquelyn four grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren his siblings Gene Charles and Roger Herringshaw and Leona Hazzard.
