Nancy Kay Scalise 77 of New Hartford passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday August 16 2026. Nancy was born in Clarksville TN July 5 1949 the second youngest of eight children to James and Dean Young Holloway. She was raised and educated in Tennessee where she excelled in basketball and was an allstate player. On February 13 1968 Nancy was joined in marriage to Peter Scalise. Pete and Nancy have shared fiftyeight loving years together and although she was a pain in his butt he loved every minute of it. The couple lived locally for years until they moved to Tennessee where she worked in accounting and bank processing at the F M Bank of Clarksville. They just recently returned to the Utica area because her granddaughter told her too. A bit of a neat freak…

Frank Calenzo

Frank J. Butch Calenzo 77 of Forestport NY went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday August 13 2026 at the Wynn Hospital with his loving family by his side. Frank was born in Utica NY December 8 1948 a son of the late James and Marie DiBrango Calenzo. He was raised in Deerfield and a graduate of Whitesboro Central School. He later attended SUNY IT where he received a Bachelors Degree in finance. Frank had many jobs throughout his life and at one time was employed as a stock broker at Wheat First Securities while living in Virginia. A very caring person he loved working with those in need and locally had worked for Upstate Cerebral Palsy and later for the NYS DDSO retiring in 2022. Raymond Edward Hanrahan 80 of Whitesboro passed away peacefully on Monday August 17 2026 at the Oneida Health Center. Ray was born in Springfield Gardens LI November 20 1945 a son of the late Edward P. and Claire Placilla Hanrahan. He was raised and educated in Long Island and a graduate of Valley Stream Central High School. He later came to the Utica area and attended MVCC where he received an Associates Degree in electrical technology. He went on to Utica College and SUNY Upstate where he obtained his Bachelors Degree. On August 12 1967 Ray was joined in marriage to the former Margaret Lucille Laria. Ray and Margie shared over fiftyfive loving years of marriage sharing many special times with family especially during the holidays. His beloved Margie passed away on January 11 2023. Ray was a microwave engineer at General Electric for over thirtyfive years retiring in 2001.…

Michael T. Dunn 67 of Utica passed away after a brief illness on Thursday August 13 2026 at Wynn Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. Michael was born in Tampa FL on November 17 1958 a son of Donald and Phyllis Crisp Dunn. He was raised and educated in Oneida NY and was a graduate of Oneida Senior High School. He was a proud U.S. Marine. On July 28 2007 Michael married the former Dorinda Marie Moracco. Mike and Dori shared 19 loving years of marriage. He was previously married to Rhonda Hicks Dunn with whom he was blessed with his two daughters. Mike worked as Vice President of Quality Control at Thermold Corporation in Canastota for over 30 years. Most recently he spent the last five years as a Customer Service Representative at Bank of America. Mike lived a life of service to both his family and his community.…
