Marcella McEvoy Lonergan 96 of Syracuse NY passed away on March 26 2026. She and her twin sister Mary were born January 16 1930 in Preble NY daughter of the late George and Helen Kane McEvoy. Marcella graduated from Homer Central School in 1947 and attended Hobart and William Smith College. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years Paul D. Lonergan. Together they were founding members of St. Anns Church. Surviving are four daughters Barbara Kevin Mahaney Susan John Basto Mary Lamb and Ann Robert Matus and son Edward Susie sister Velma Bill Lindberg 13 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Marcella was also predeceased by her brother Dr. Richard McEvoy and his wife Caroline sisters Katherine McEvoy and Mary Watson and her husband Bernard a soninlaw Ron Lamb and nephew Patrick McEvoy.
