Eugene Geno Plyter 86 of West Monroe New York beloved husband father grandfather and great grandfather passed away quietly with his family by his side on Wednesday April 1 2026. Born June 23rd 1939 in Rochester New York son of the late Peter and Elizabeth Orbaker Plyter. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for 6.5 years. While stationed at Highlands AFB in New Jersey he met is wife of 60 years Ann D. Caren of Eatontown New Jersey. He retired from Hoffman Air and Filtration Systems East Syracuse NY after 32 years. He worked cleaning the Brewerton branch of the Bank Of America for 10years just to keep busy. Geno was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan Toronto Blue Jays as well as a love of all things NASCAR. He worked as a Millwright throughout his life retiring from Local 1163 in Syracuse New York following many years of service as a Millwright Supervisor. He took great pride in everything he did. Family was at the center of Bruces world. He shared 59 years of marriage with his wife Ruby. Together they built a life filled with love and lasting memories. Bruce especially cherished his time spent with his son going on hunting and hiking trips fishing with his children and grandchildren and in early years weekends camping with his family. Barbara Haney Ehlers 86 of Jamesville NY passed away on March 26 2026 surrounded by her loving family. After many years of working and raising her children Barbara started her second career as a volunteer at the American Red Cross for over 20 years. There she worked with Disaster Relief Services and Services to the Armed Forces supporting our nations military members and their families. She traveled nationally for disasters such as Hurricane Katrina and 911 and won several awards for her service including Volunteer of the Year. In her spare time she started a local chapter of The Red Hat Society as Queen Rhapsody with her good friend and coqueen Emily Garrow also known as Queen Claret Plum. Born in Oswego NY Jim was the son of the late Vivian Parkhurst Clarenc Iggy Sheldon. He was a devoted husband having married his best friend and the love of his life Bonnie Halsey. They shared nearly 54 wonderful years together. He and Bonnie have resided in Scriba while raising their two children Kelley and Kevin. Jim graduated from Mexico High School in 1965 and worked for Industrial Precision for nearly 50 years. He also served the town of Scriba as a councilordeputy supervisor for 12 years.
