Kenneth R. Schunk age 68 passed away peacefully on Saturday March 28 2026 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by the love and presence of his family. Kenneth was a graduate of Whitmore Lake High School class of 1975. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy mostly aboard the USS Flasher from 19771986 a time in his life he held in great honor and forged friendships that lasted a lifetime. Following his military service Kenneth utilized his background in electrical engineering to start his company Upstate Automation in the Saratoga area where he was known for his knowledge precision and strong work ethic. He took great pride in his profession and the contributions he made over the years. In his personal life Kenneth found joy in baseball a devoted Tigers fan boating and fishing.
