Joanna W. Kinney, 90, of Waverly passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at home with her loving husband by her side.She was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Nellie Walter Hoyt; her son, David Kinney; her siblings, Robert, Richard, Sharon and Sandra Hoyt, and her sister, Charlotte; and her grandson, Aaron “Buzzy” Trudeau.Joanna is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Howard Kinney, Jr of Waverly; her children, Kay (Chris) Robinson of Waverly, Claude (Pat) Kinney of Chemung, Nancy Wood of Waverly, Cathy (Michael) Trudeau of Chemung and Eric (Barbara) Kinney of ME; her siblings, Claude (Mary) Hoyt of S. Waverly, Jerry Hoyt of S. Waverly and Judy (Charlie) Brown of Owego; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.Joanna was born in Sayre and graduated from Towanda High School Class of 1955.
