Gloria A. Braman 97 of Shandaken died peacefully Friday at the Mountainside Residential Care Center in Margaretville. She was born September 27 1928 in Brooklyn daughter of the late Charles and Lydia Phillips. Surviving are her husband of 72 years Jay Braman Sr. a son Jay Braman Jr. two grandsons Roscoe and Fletcher Braman. She was predeceased by he son Mark in 2025. Arrangements are incomplete however we anticipate that the gathering and service will take place on Wednesday April 8th time to be announced at the E. B. Gormley Funeral Home 87 Main St. Phoenicia. Burial in the family plot at the Mt. Pleasant Rural Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Shandaken Memorial Methodist Church.
