Tillson Harold J. Sampson Hal 103 died on Monday March 31 2026 at Ten Broeck Commons in Lake Katrine NY. He was born in the Bronx July 24 1922 a son of the late Clarence A. and Mary Ann Lee Sampson. A longtime Tillson resident Hal had been employed as a manager for Beneficial Finance Corp. for 33 years retiring in 1983. He was a member of the 30 year club and recieved many achievement awards during his career there. Hal was a member of the Rondout Valley Lions Club since 1975. He served President for 2 terms and Secretary for 2 terms. He recieved Melyin Jones and Robert Uplinger Awards and was 4 times the Lion of the Year.
