JoAnn is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years David Bateman her loving daughter Katlyn Bateman her sister Marie Tallevi her sisterinlaw Maria Mancini and many extended family members and lifelong friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Born and raised in Yonkers New York JoAnn grew up alongside her sister Marie and brother Teddy surrounded by the love of her parents Angeline and Ted Mancini. Born in Sharon PA he spent the majority of his life in New York City working as a literary agent film producer briefly a cab driver and finally as an entertainment lawyer as a Founding Partner of Cowan DeBaets Abrahams and Sheppard. He was a true lifelong advocate for artists and the arts.
