Funeral on Friday August 21 2026 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Gastonia at 12 noon with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. To the Wilkes and Hill family you have my sincere condolences. I was so saddened to hear of Vernettes passing. Vernette was a sweet person. We always enjoyed seeing each other. May Gods comfort and peace be with the family Vernette you were such a wonderful spirit. You will be missed. May God watch over the entire family during this unexpected time.
