Betty Louise Locklear, lovingly known as “Betty Blue,” was born on June 27, 1943, to the late Evander Blue and Janie Blue. She peacefully entered her eternal home on April 1, 2026, surrounded by the promise of Heaven.Betty was preceded in death by her beloved family members Proctor Locklear, Jr., Harvey Blue, William Ander Blue, Clayton Blue, Billy Ray Blue, and Christine Chavis.Betty was cherished for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for God and her family. She carried herself with grace and humility, leaving a lasting impression on all who were blessed to know her compassionate and steady spirit.A faithful servant of the Lord, Betty was a devoted pillar of the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) and spent many years serving in the nursery at Dundarrach Baptist Church.
