Richard Lee Stephson 71 of Springfield passed away May 14 2026 in Spring Meadows Care Center Woodstock Ohio. He was born May 1 1955 in Springfield the son of Kenneth and Edna Schmidt Stephson. Richard enjoyed hunting fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by a daughter Courtney grandson Matthew sister Mary Miller special friend Brian Stupp and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Rebecca stepdaughter Marsha Adams. siblings Aggie Bob and Patricia and his parents. No services are planned at this time. Robert Purdy

Robert Bob or Rocky to his folks was a dedicated and well respected Podiatrist in the Maumee and Toledo Ohio area until the time of his retirement. He went on to run numerous business ventures after that and was a longtime proud member of The Rotary Club. Born in Louisville Kentucky to Ted and Ethel Purdy he grew up with his beloved brother Allen and sister Linda. Preceded in death was his wife Karen Purdy whom he shared 27 beautiful years. He is survived by his daughter Jill K Christian and her husband Ron 3 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren and son Jonathan Purdy 1 grandchild. He was born December 25 1958 in Springfield Ohio the son of Marion Carr and Sylvia West Carr. Michael worked and retired from Kaycan after several years of employment. He loved fishing and cruising around just enjoying life. He leaves to cherish his daughter Sheri James Stiles son Jesse Carr stepdaughter Jennifer Dodd and Cortney stepsons Daniel and Chris. He has seven grandchildren James Jr Jordan Savannah Brandon Austin Aliyah and Robbie. William "Bill" Sroufe

William Bill Glenn Sroufe 69 of Springfield passed away on Wednesday May 13 2026 in his home with his family by his side. He was born January 22 1957 in Wilmington Ohio the son of Roy Glenn and Virginia Mae Brown Sroufe. Bill had owned his own lawn care business and in recent years he had worked parttime at Home Depot. He enjoyed making and selling pens.
