Paul E. “Dutch” Collins, age 95, of Marengo, passed away Monday afternoon, March 30, 2026, at Bennington Glen.Born April 30, 1930, in Mansfield, Ohio, Dutch was the son of the late Floyd R. and Beulah K. (Miller) Collins. He was a 1948 graduate of Bellville High School and later attended the University of Maryland. Dutch honorably served his country in the United States Air Force for 22 years, retiring in 1970. During his military career and beyond, he lived in Washington, D.C. from 1961 to 1968 and in Rockville, Maryland from 1972 to 1992, before making Marengo his home in 1992.Throughout his life, Dutch built a career centered around writing and communications. Mary Lou Hass-Jones, 96, of Mount Vernon passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at the Country Court Nursing Center in Mount Vernon. She was born on June 15, 1929 in Mount Vernon to the late Paul Harold and Nellie (Gemienhardt) Keys.Mary Lou was the Apartment Manager for several Senior Apartment Companies and retired from the United Church Homes in Marion. She was also a Pilot and loved flying.Mary Lou is survived by her brother, Jerry (Sue) Keys of Cardington; sister, Shirley Laymon of Roanoke, VA; 2 granddaughters, 4 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her son, Larry Jones; and brothers, David and Paul Keys.A graveside service will be held in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 1 p.m.To share a memory or send the family an expression of sympathy…
