Harold A. Scheiderer passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 1 2026 surrounded by the love of his family. Hal was born on February 10 1937 to Harold and Jeanne Scheiderer. He spent his early years in Union County before his family moved to the south side of Columbus where he graduated from Columbus South High School in 1955. Following high school Hal attended The Ohio State University where he earned both his bachelors and masters degrees. During this time he also honorably served his country in the United States Army. On September 4 1960 Hal married the love of his life Roberta. Together they built a beautiful life centered on faith family and service sharing nearly 66 wonderful years of marriage. Norman Allen Black of Westerville Ohio a cherished husband father and friend passed away peacefully on June 28 2026 at age 84. Born on January 30 1942 in Columbus Ohio he was the son of Frank Clarence Black and Jean Rosella McMacken Black of Pickerington Ohio. From a young age Norman was known for his kindness compassion work ethic and loving naturequalities that shaped the life he built. On July 24 1964 he married Leona Margaret Axline and together they shared 61 years of love partnership and family. Norman spent 27 years in telephone communications working as a linesman for Ohio Bell Ameritech and ATT. Colleagues remembered him for his strong work ethic leadership and sense of humor.
