Walter Pippin Sr., age 80, of Liberty Center, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.Walter was born on July 14, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Johnnie and Mae (McNelley) Pippin.On March 18, 1967, he married the love of his life, Valerie Fahrni. Together they shared nearly 60 years of marriage, building a life centered on faith, family, and hard work. Valerie survives him at their home in Liberty Center.Walter dedicated 43 years of service as a laborer with Chrysler, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment.Outside of work, Walter found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid walleye and bass fisherman and enjoyed woodworking, canning, quilting, gardening, and baking for family gatherings and holidays.
