Susan JeanMonroe age 85 of Lakeland Florida passed away Thursday March 26 2026. Susan was born May 25 1940 in Marion Ohio to the late Don Clarke and ClaraSallyClarke. She graduated from Harding High School in 1958. In 1964 she married Larry RobertMonroewho passed in 2023. She was proceeded in death by her sister Kathleen Stithem. Her brother Richard Clarke of Marion survives. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Reeverts and grandson Cody Reeverts who reside in Lakeland Fl. Susan was a waitress for over 20 years and she worked at Whirlpool for 10 years from which she retired. Susan found happiness in the simple treasures of lifeespecially her beloved dogs and a good garage sale. Known to most as Laurie, she was born in Lima, Ohio on August 6, 1943 to the late Clarence and Laura (Battles) Rowland. Laurie graduated from Lima Senior High School, class of 1961 and later graduated from the Richard Weston Beauty Academy. While working as a car hop, Laurie met a young man that had just returned home from the Army. It was love at first sight and four months later, on July 22, 1962, that young man, Willard Kim Winget, would become her husband.After a few years, Kim’s job would take him to Marion, where they would raise a family and spend nearly 60 wonderful years together.
