Ann Williams Anderson 67 of Zanesville passed peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday August 5 2026 after a long battle with cancer. Ann was the daughter of the late Larry and Marion Williams of New Lexington. She is survived by her son Ryan her brother Scott his wife Susan and their children Colin and Sarah and her brother Lance Williams his fianc Amy Moore Amys daughter Brittany and son Bradley and their grandchildren Alexander Evelyn and Thaddeus. She was proceeded in death by her brother Mike Williams. Ann was a graduate of New Lexington High School and Hocking College. Ann loved life her family friends and coworkers. Like her mother she was an avid gardener. Few things brought her more joy than planting her flowers and herbs every spring and watching them thrive. When she wasnt gardening she was probably reading. Danny Brooks 74 of Junction City Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday August 8 2026 at Somerset Altercare Nursing Home. Danny was born in Zanesville Ohio on April 9 1952 to the late Jack and Maxine Farmer Brooks. He was preceded in death by his parents his brother Jack Brooks and sistersinlaw Brenda Brooks and Marla Brooks. Danny was a quiet kind and loving man who never needed to be the center of attention to make a lasting impact on the people around him. He loved his family and friends deeply and cherished every moment spent with them. Danny proudly worked as a meat cutter and butcher for 55 years. Outside of work he enjoyed fishing gathering around bonfires and most of all spending time with the people he loved.
