Robert Brooke Skinner 53 of Somerset Ohio passed away at his home on October 11 2026 following a courageous battle with a brain tumor that spread over 19 years. He was a beloved husband father son brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Rob was born in Zanesville Ohio to Gerald Stuart Skinner Jr. and Norma Jean Jeannie Skinner. He grew up in Glenford Ohio where he attended Glenford Elementary School and later graduated from Sheridan High School. He continued his education at Otterbein University Fort Wayne Bible College and Taylor University. Rob spent many years working at Blue Line Food Service Distribution. On June 9 2001 Rob married Sonya Smith beginning a life together filled with love family and countless memories.
