Born on March 12 1934 in West Portsmouth he was the son of the late George Edward and Gladys Rose Howard Worstell. A devout man of deep Christian faith and a dedicated member of Portsmouth Baptist Church Gary lived a vibrant life defined by boundless energy fearless ambition and an unforgettable knack for storytelling. His legendary work ethic took root in early childhood on the farma passion for the land that stayed with him throughout his lifetime eventually leading him to supply train carloads of seed to the O M Seed Company for many years. Jean Allene Rammel 91 of Portsmouth passed away on August 3 2026 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. Jean was born on June 18 1935 in Portsmouth the daughter of the late Robert James and Helen Adda Titus Boorman. A homemaker Jean was a 1953 graduate of Portsmouth High School and she had worked for the former Martings Department Store for 10 years. She loved going to the ocean and especially enjoyed sunrise and sunsets on the beach. In her free time Jean enjoyed reading Amish stories. Surviving are her daughters Catherine S.
