Elbert B. Dutch Edeburn 96 of Bloomville passed away Wednesday May 13 2026 at his residence. Dutch was born December 8 1929 in Fort Shafter HI to the late Kenneth Burdett and Marguerite Hori Edeburn. He married Martha E. Blaser in Bloomville on August 9 1953 and she preceded him in death on October 7 2004. He later married LouAnn Newlove in Bloomville on August 22 2009 and she survives in Bloomville. Dutch lived the life of a military kid. Most of his time was spent in Hawaii. Because of his fathers role in the U.S. Army Dutch was living with his family at Fort Kamehameha when Pearl Harbor was attacked and like all Americans that day his life would be forever changed. After surviving the attack Dutchs father was stationed overseas and the rest of the Edeburn family relocated to Bloomville OH for the remainder of the war. Here…
