Vera Mae Brose, 96, of Fostoria, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026 at her home. She was born May 2, 1930 in Glouster, Ohio to Casey & Mildred Jones. She married Jacob Brose who later passed away April 30, 2013.She is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, children Mack, Roger, Marty Dyer, Debra Dyer-Ritter, sisters Maxine, Jean & Kay, grandson Roger Dyer II.​Vera was the previous owner & operator of the Town Café in Glouster and she was well known for her Bunky Burgers. The loves of her life were her grandchildren. ​Visitation will be held Thursday, October 15, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, Ohio. Following the visitation, graveside services and burial will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey, Ohio.Memorials can be made to the family.​
