She was born on February 18 1924 in Beloit Alabama to the late Josephine JohnsonJones and Roosevelt Moore. She attended high school through the 11th grade where she met and married her childhood sweetheart the late Elton Henderson Sr. In their young adult years they moved to Akron Ohio where they began their family after his return from World War II. She remained a devoted resident there for more than 77 years raising her family with love strength and unwavering commitment. Mother and Homemaker were her most cherished roles yet she was also a woman of great resourcefulness and wisdom. She was born on March 12 1952 to Adam and Annabel Wilson Kabellar. Preceded by her parents and brother Reverend Adam Jack Kabellar. She is survived by her sister Kathleen Jill Reverend Hubert Hotchkiss and sisterinlaw Rosie Kabellar. She also leaves behind her niece Beth Hotchkiss Yoder and husband Tim nephews Kevin and Christine Kabellar Loren and Ying and daughter Lyra Kabellar niece Annette Kabellar Mark Davis. After graduating from Norton High School and attending Hobe Sound Bible College Beth taught in a Bible Methodist Christian school in Georgetown Illinois and a Wesleyan Methodist Christian school in Barberton Ohio. She worked in retail at Higbys and Macys and served several years with Christian Brotherhood NewsletterChristian Healthcare Ministry until her retirement. Thomas A. Barber 67 passed away Monday March 30 2026 after a long health issue with COPD. He was born on October 16 1958 in Barberton Ohio to the late Bobby and Juanita Barber. Tom loved his Honda Civic and traveled everywhere. He loved listening to the Beatles and Jethro Tull. He is survived by his sister Anita Brett Mooney his very special aunt Bonnie and the wonderful Ciccolini family surviving cousins Ed and Barb Long his good friends from The Akron Porcelain and friend Fran Kitchen who was always there for Tom and his family.
