Sharon Elaine Cox 86 of Prineville Oregon passed away on August 13 2026 after a brief illness. Born on November 4 1939 in The Dalles Oregon Sharon was a true Central Oregonian who spent nearly her entire life in Prineville. Sharon graduated from Crook County High School with the Class of 57. She was married to William Koethke from 1957 to 1964 and later to Rusty Cox from 1966 to 2011. Sharon worked at the Prineville Medical Clinic for years was employed at Brightwood Millworks and drove a school bus for decades finally hanging up her keys at the age of 83. Even then retirement didnt slow her down. She spent her free time delivering Meals on Wheels to neighbors in need and serving at the Senior Center keeping at it until just recently When she wasnt working or volunteering Sharon could be found with her dogs by her side…

Known to all as someone who always had a smile onher face Katie was the kind of person who would drop anything to lend a hand to anyone in need. Her compassionate heart andgenerous spirit made the world around her a brighter place. Marrying Roy Fuller on August 14th 2010 they started building their life together.
