He was employed for over 40 years as a roll grinder for the LTV Steel Works in Hazelwood and was a proud member of the United Steelworkers Union Local 1843. Following his retirement from the steel mill Bob took a position delivering auto parts for Valley Auto Parts in Wilmerding and later worked for Giant Eagle in Glenshaw.
