Nellie B. Keys was born on December 28 1932 in Greenwood Mississippi to the late Emmett and Alma I. Keys. In addition to her parents preceding her in death were her daughter Alma D. Jackson her brother Emmett L. Keys Jr. and her nephews Steven L. Keys and Clifford Nabors. Mother Travis received her education through the Greenwood Public School System graduating from Broad Street High School in 1953. She furthered her education at Mississippi Vocational College earning a degree in Practical Nursing in 1956. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age while attending the Mitchell Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood Mississippi with her mother. Her faith became the firm foundation upon which she built her life and guided every season of her journey. After completing her college education Mother Travis relocated to Detroit MI. He was born November 18 1940 to the late Joseph and Rosella Deptula Bozic and has been a longtime resident of the community. Mr. Bozic served in The U.S. Army Reserves during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge he worked as a body man in the automotive industry. He enjoyed drag racing fishing and riding dirt bikes throughout his life and especially spending time with his family. Jean Alice Pastorek age 96 passed away on February 2 2026 at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh with her family at her bedside. Born August 14 1929 to John Howard and Alice Kemper Kiser in New Kensington PA she was one of four children and graduated from New Kensington High School in 1947. In 1955 she married pharmacy graduate Edward Grajcar and settled in Cheswick where they would raise their three children and where she lived for the rest of her life. She hosted Thanksgiving Dinner there for her family for 70 years. After her husbands passing in 1974 she studied nursing at St. Francis School of Nursing in Pittsburgh and went on to work at Allegheny Valley Hospital and later at Presbyterian Senior Care in Oakmont where she helped to establish the pharmacy.
