He was born June 11 1953 in Everett the son of the late Carl R. and Mildred McGraw Bowser. On August 13 1977 he was united in marriage to Robin Hall Bowser who survives along with their children Joseph Scott Bowser and wife Heather Jason Carl Jay Bowser and wife Kimberly and Wendy Kay Bowser Browning and husband Aaron eight grandchildren Blake Maria Bowser Abby Lydia Owen Ellis Colten and Braden Bowser and Lavada Browning one great grandson Atticus Bowser two step great grandchildren Douglas and Dalhia sister Linda Bowser Kuhstoss and husband Blynn of White Plains MD motherinlaw Martha Hall of Hopewell PA Mr. Bowser was a 1971 graduate of NBC High School successfully completing study in agriculture. Margaret Marie "Peggy" Shipley 88 formerly of Alum Bank passed away on Wednesday April 1 2026 at PennKnoll Village. She was born on February 5 1938 in Roaring Spring daughter of the late Grover and Inez Cooper Beck. She was preceded in death by her parents daughter Nancy Cogan siblings Robert Veryl Grover Chap Leslie Buddy Richard Dick Verna Sis and Evelyn. She is survived by her Granddaughter Lonnie Ross two Great Grandchildren Christopher and Aleah Ross and brother William Beck of North Carolina. Margaret attended Spring Meadow Church and Alum Bank Community Church. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held on Friday April 10 2026 at 1 p.m. with Keith Showalter officiating at the Community Grace Brethren Church 1216 Raystown Road Everett.

Merrit Bowman

Merrit Bowman of Mechanics Hollow Road Clearville PA passed away on Wednesday April 1 2026 two days before his 86th birthday surrounded by his loving family at UPMC Altoona hospital. He was the oldest son of the late Kenneth and Verna Sollenberger Bowman. On August 9 1963 in Mench PA he was united in marriage to Martha Alice ONeal and together they were loving parents of four children Ella Cessna married to Todd Ruth Exline married to James Heidi Press married to Craig and R. Allen Bowman married to Melody Diehl. The family lost their beloved mother Alice on June 21 2000. While Alice was alive the two were always on adventures together and the oldest grandchildren have wonderful memories of grandma and grandaddy babysitting complete with car trips that included ice cream and bluegrass music.
