David A. Norris Sr. 83 of Tarentum passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 1 2026 at his home. Born September 5 1942 in Natrona Heights was the son of W. Charles Norris and Lelia Snider Norris. Dave was the owner of D D Auto Salvage. A truck driver at heart he had over 40 years behind the wheel driving literally millions of miles. Early in his career he was a driver for Tesone Trucking and a Road Foreman for Fawn Twp. At Lernerville Speedway Dave was a key member of the Norris Racing Team. For many years at the local drag races he dominated the competition in his Hemi Powered Dodges. He was an avid fisherman spending much of his later years with a reel in his hand at the St. Johns River or at the ocean at Flagler Beach. He was a familiar face…
