James "Skip" Salsgiver Jr. 79 of Natrona Heights passed away on July 3 2026 at the Allegheny General Hospital. Born October 15 1946 in Natrona Heights PA he was the son of James and Arlene Moser Salsgiver. Skip was a 1964 graduate of Knoch High School. He then went to serve his country as a Sergeant in the US Army during Vietnam. He worked as a Quality Engineer for MSA for 40 years. Skip was a member of St. Mary Mother of God Church in Freeport and the Saxonburg American Legion Post 7376. He enjoyed singing in the St. Joseph Church Choir for many years under the direction of Gerard Conroy. He enjoyed golfing being a member of the Monday Golf League at Saxon Golf Course and enjoyed taking golf trips with his friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years…
