Edwin Allen "Ed" Kocher 82 of Benton Township died early Thursday morning April 2 2026 at Celebration Villa in Berwick. Born September 27 1943 in Bloomsburg he was a son of the late Carl P. Kocher who died January 28 2000 and Florence I. Burwell Kocher who died May 5 2010. He and his wife Dorothy M. Dendler Kocher celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on January 22nd. Ed was a 1962 graduate of Benton High School. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U. S. Army from 1966 to 1969 and served a tour in Germany. He had been employed for many years at PPL where he was a supervisor. He later worked for Robert Ryman Enterprises for 20 years until his retirement.
