Born on June 22 1961 in Saginaw Michigan and raised in Bay City Stevie carried the steadiness of Michigan with him everywhere he went including to Allentown where he put down roots in his twenties and built a life that was by every measure a life wellbuilt. Born in Philadelphia Ed was the son of the late Anna Bernadette Murphy Donoghue and Edward S. Donoghue Sr. Ed received his PhD in Applied Mathematics from Cornell University. Born in West Alice Wisconsin Selma and her family moved to Los Angeles California for the warmer climate. Selma attended the University of Wisconsin for a year before transferring to UCLA. As a Jewish teenager she left Germany and came to the United States with her husband Leon Nadler seeking safety and a new beginning. They settled in Atlantic City New Jersey where Leon painted hotel rooms and Anneliese worked as a seamstress handstitching drapes clothing and more to support their young family. In 1953 she gave birth to their daughter Miriam. They later made their home in Union New Jersey where they lived for over four decades building a life rooted in hard work close friendships and community. Known lovingly as Grandma Ann she was a devoted wife mother grandmother and greatgrandmother who found deep joy in her family.
